I've started working with a new client who will be undergoing an entire main floor renovation of her home. A large portion of her budget will be taken by flooring and then her kitchen cabinets. Knowing that, I have started to look at options for her kitchen counters. I know Quartz will most likely not be an option and I will not be looking at cheaper granite (as I believe you pay for what you get). As such, I've started to look at different options.

My client will be having shiny white kitchen cabinets installed. She also is in love with the gray trend. As you may know, I am a firm believer in choosing fixed elements that will stand the test of time and trends. That means cabinets, counters, backsplash are all fixed elements. Granite Look Alike

Going with a totally different look (white cabinets and a darker counter), I found this granite look-alike counter. It is also part of the Formica® 180 fx line.
