September is a Great Time to Fall In Love With Your Home

When I think of September I think of the season of Fall/Autumn.  And what better way to start September than to fall in love with your home.

Fall In Love With Your Home

Fall Decorating

I'm a huge fan of yellow (as that is my favourite colour) so it's no surprise that I love the colours in fall.  Although I dread the shorter days, the cooler days, I try to forget that just after fall comes damn winter!  Although I love white kitchens (timeless in my books), I dread the white fluffy stuff (notice how I'm not even using the 's' word)! With the invention of Pinterest, you are only one click away to get ideas for decorating for fall. From simple ideas like this:fall in love with your home

By adding in some simple decor like toss cushions and throws, you can take your space from summer to fall in no time at all!  The only thing I will warn you about is that not everyone's home decor is conducive to adding a splash or orange or yellow.  Don't get caught just throwing random shit together.  Take a look at your space, identify what your undertones are in your fixed elements and furniture, and work around those!  You may have to use more muted and earthy tones instead.
